Chris Zúñiga is the owner and inspector of Top Tier Inspectors LLC. Prior to opening his business, Chris worked over ten years as a special inspector and forensic engineering inspector under the guidance and expertise of a Florida Licensed Structural Engineer. Collaborating with the various professional disciplines involved in the design and construction of residential and commercial buildings, he gained indispensable knowledge and experience involved in proper building practices and the various components that make up a home. On the forensic engineering side of his duties, he developed the skillset to pinpoint and diagnose issues that were causing or could potentially cause damage to homes and unsafe conditions for its inhabitants.

Chris has always been very passionate about the construction industry, and his plan was to continue his career in field of construction science and engineering until having a change of heart. Having experienced the stressfulness of purchasing his first home with his wife, he felt his path was leading him away from the office. Having an inspection report to review prior to closing the deal on his home provided a sense of ease about the existing condition of the home he was purchasing and where he would be sheltering his family. It also provided him the inspiration to shift his career towards creating his own home inspection company and an excellent direction for application of his skills and experience.
